On the survey info, I'd take it with a grain of salt, though: for one I don't know that I'd make an either/or argument on personal vs. systemic racism. Secondly, I don't know that most white Christians have heard (sometimes, yes, sadly by an unwillingness to listen) a well communicated definition for what systemic racism is and even if they have I know I was blind to it for a long time. Hopefully we can see those numbers move as the conversation continues through words like you've written here.

You may be right on the stats. Although, I haven't really seen anyone refute them. I have seen ruling elders (RE) object to how it paints RE's in a bad light, which I'm sympathetic to. And, I think lived experience testifies to the split. Either way, yes, I long for a coming together of hearts and minds.
